  • Transactional: plan purchased, invoices, payment status, last renewal date.
  • Support: messages, tickets, call/chat history.
  • Technical: IP address, device/OS, app version, approximate location, logs, connection counts, error reports.
  • Usage: login timestamps, session duration, high-level streaming events (not granular content history unless required for fraud/security).
  • Cookies/Similar tech: strictly necessary cookies; with consent, analytics and performance cookies (see Cookies section).

2.3 Why we use your data (Legal bases)

  • Provide the Service & support (contract).
  • Payments, billing, fraud prevention (contract/legitimate interests/legal obligation).
  • Account security, abuse prevention, fair-use enforcement (legitimate interests).
  • Comms about the Service e.g., outages, changes (legitimate interests).
  • Marketing (consent where required; you can opt out).
  • Compliance with tax, accounting, and legal requests (legal obligation).

2.4 Sharing

We share data with:

  • Payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, NOWPayments, bank providers) to process payments. They are usually independent controllers for payment data.
  • Infrastructure & tools (hosting/CDN, email service, analytics, helpdesk, error reporting, anti-fraud).
  • Professional advisers (legal/accounting) and authorities where legally required.
    We do not sell your personal data.

2.5 International transfers

We may transfer data outside the UK/EEA with appropriate safeguards (e.g., adequacy decisions, SCCs, IDTA/UK Addendum). Copies available on request.

2.6 Retention

  • Account data: for your subscription and up to 6 years after for tax/accounting.
  • Logs/security: typically 90–365 days unless needed longer for security or legal claims.
  • Support tickets: 24 months unless needed longer.
    We keep data only as long as necessary.

You can complain to your local authority. In the UK, that’s the ICO: ico.org.uk. We’d appreciate the chance to resolve issues first.

2.9 Security
